Geneva 3rd April 2025,
Established by the United Nations General Assembly on July 25, 2019, the adoption of the UN Resolution73/329 led to the very first International Day of Conscience (IDC). The IDC is a day to reflect on our actions and consider how we can contribute to a more inclusive world. Aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 16, the success of the United Nations global agenda must be now based not only on institutional commitments but also on an individual engagements and a heightened awareness of being part of the success in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in our daily lives.
In line with the values of the International Day of Conscience, the LoveForce Manifesto, that will be presented on April 4th at the UN in Geneva, is a groundbreaking initiative that advocates for elevating the principles of conscience and love to the forefront of global leadership. The Manifesto calls for these values to be recognized as fundamental drivers for peace, social justice, and human evolution. LoveForce represents a committed community of young leaders, the LoveForce Ambassadors. They are supported by organizations dedicated to fostering a culture of non-violence and inclusivity, guided by love and conscience. It aims to inspire new paradigms of civilization where these values serve the common good, echoing the timeless aspirations of the human heart.
Alongside the LoveForce Ambassadors from the 5 continents (by videoconference for the majority), 80 young people will also be present (Sciences Po Grenoble, Polytech, IAE Savoie Mont Blanc, Ecole Notre Dame, Sciences U) and will share their protests and proposals.

Sara Noble Convenor of IDC, from Caux Initiatives of Change
“This year’s IDC is a powerful call for individuals and governments to reflect on their moral and ethical values. We aim to raise awareness, foster dialogue, and, most importantly, spread more love”
The IDC also serves as a platform for civil society and grassroots organizations, accelerating SDG progress by integrating peace into daily life not only via institutions and society but also through personal engagement.
Pascale Fressoz, co-convenor of IDC, from AI-ODD
“Multilateralism and diplomacy need to be infused with a new form of humanism. We must propose a new pact based on the richness of diversity, cooperation, co-construction and the joy of sharing. We all know that our compassion and love for others is more powerful than hate in driving change. This Day should bring together the leaders of different nations so that change can be collective, with a shared vision and ethics.”
The event at the UN is co-convened by LoveForce, Caux Initiatives of Change and the International Alliance for the Sustainable Millenium Goals (AI-ODD)
