Depuis 1989, le 20 Novembre de chaque année est célébrée la Journée Mondiale pour l’Industrialisation de l’Afrique. C’est en application de la Résolution RES/44/44/237 votée par l’Assemblée générale des Nations Unies que fut instauré cet événement. A cette occasion, la communauté internationale et tout particulièrement ses membres d’Afrique, organisent des activités et des débats autour d’un thème particulier.
