Ranan L. Lurie, named the most widely syndicated political cartoonist in the World by the Guinness Book of World Records, unveiled his Uniting Painting at the United Nations Secretariat in New York on 1 November last year in presence of Ms Nane Annan, Mr Tharoor, Under-Secretary-General of Communications and Public Information and numerous members of the diplomatic corps.
